Our Prismatic VMS rotation system
To ensure smooth turning of the prisms in your signs we developed our patented PVMS rotation system. This proven patented drive system, that uses stainless steel ball bearings, is self-lubricating and maintenance-free. The self-lubricating effect is achieved by the addition of 15% PTFE. The system starts without load and there is almost no stick-slip in the mechanism. Each prism has its individual transmission with a large blocking surface, every image is therefore positioned perfectly flat, even after 10 years of usage. Rotapanel PVMS do not require any periodical calibration or readjustment of prisms. All bearings are sealed and lubricated with special high stability grease that will remain its viscosity over a very wide temperature range e.g. they grease will not get stiff at low temperatures!

Unique drive system
Rotapanel’s unique patented drive system guarantees hassle free operation and maintenance becomes negligible. Due to our large blocking surface each prism is always positioned flat and no re-adjustment of prisms is needed.
Motors and gearboxes
Our motors and gearboxes are produced by Oriental Motors in Japan. Although the dimensions and shape of our motor suggest otherwise, our motor is only 9 watts. We can achieve this due to our unique patented low-friction mechanism.
